Nod / privacy

A short privacy note.

This page describes the current website preview. It is not a contract or legal advice. If the product changes, this notice must be reviewed and updated before launch.

What this website collects

The static pages do not use analytics, advertising pixels, sign-in, cookies, or third-party tracking. If you email [email protected], your email provider and the information you choose to include will process that message.

Public repository scanner

The scanner is currently launch-gated. When enabled, it accepts a public GitHub repository name or URL, fetches bounded public source archives from GitHub, runs static analysis, and returns a result. The service is designed not to store your repository, source snippets, input, or scan result. Temporary server workspaces are deleted after the scan.

Do not submit private repository URLs, credentials, secrets, production data, or personal data in repository content. The scanner can send normal hosting and security metadata such as repository name, status code, timing, and abuse-prevention signals to its infrastructure logs. Retention and access for those provider logs must be configured before production launch.

Planned GitHub connection

GitHub sign-in, private repository access, saved history, and pull-request checks are not available on this website. We do not collect GitHub account data through this page. If those features are built, this notice must be expanded to explain the exact GitHub fields, permissions, retention, deletion, export, and consent choices before signup.

Your choices and contact

Do not use the email link if you need to send secrets. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or grievance messages about this website, contact [email protected]. Nod is an engineering tool, not legal advice, and this page does not promise a legal outcome.
